Base Plate Settlement System are used for monitoring settlements below embankments on soft grounds. A settlement platform consists of a square plate of steel (0.6m square), placed on orignal ground surface to which a riser pipe of 50 mm dia is welded.

Borehole Extensometers are often used for the measurement of deformation /settlement of the rock mass and ajjacent surrounding. Generally these are supplied with more than one anchor, and are popularly known as Multipoint Borehole extensometer's.

Magnetic Extensometer system is used for measuring and recording of settlement in the earthen dam embankments, ground etc. The basic principal involes is providing "Ring magnets" sliding on a access tube, and are fixed in the ground at the specified locations, where settlement movement is to be monitored.

The Surface/ground settlement points are meant for monitoring the settlement of the Ground/Surface using optical means (Total station/Theodolite). These are made of 250 mm long X 25 mm dis, steel rod having a Cross mark on the top.

Liquid Settlement Cells based on the principle of vibrating wire are of two types : Borehole Type and French Type. These help in measurement and control of vertical movements.

Vibraing Wire type Soil Extensometer is designed for the measurement of Soil and rock movment including lateral strains and settlement.
